Since the launch of the Suzuki Wagon R in 2014, it has consistently ranked in the list of affordable cars and a choice for fuss-free city ride. Withholding an uplifted fascia, it easily deals with bumpy city roads while providing a good fuel economy. This owner review holds a unique place as it is the first of the first Wagon R in Pakistan with an air suspension.

Make, Model, and Variant

This one was a 2016 model of Suzuki wagon R VXL purchased in 2016 by Rehan’s family for the daily city commutes. However, he started driving it in 2019, which is when the journey of modifications started.

Air Suspension and Other Modifications

Rehan started its facelift by first dropping it down and changing the alloy rims in 2020. Moving on to the air suspension cost around Rs. 370,000. Later, he installed a new sound system with woofers and speakers, changed the dashboard to carbon fiber, installed a new head unit, and got done with ambient lighting.

Some other tweaks included changing of gear knob, wrapping the bonnet and fenders in forged carbon fiber, changing the traditional taillights into RGB, and getting the wheel cambers done.

Maintenance

Being a young driver, Rehan as never taken this Wagon R outside the city. For this a maintenance after every 3000 km seems like a good deal for him which costs around Rs. 7,000.

Inspiration For Youngsters

Although, Suzuki Wagon R itself doesn’t boast a bold or aggressive fascia but these tweaks have made it stand out among the ordinary trims. This unique proposition is an inspiration for all the adults running after Toyota Supra or Nissan Nismo, and if you are a real enthusiast, you can turn an ordinary car into a project one if you use your skills creatively.
