In this video, Petersen Automotive Museum together with Doug DeMuro gathered perhaps two of the most iconic production cars from the 1990s: a Ferrari F40 and Dodge Viper.

The Viper featured here is one of the early examples and packs a V10 engine producing 400 horsepower at 4,600 rpm and 465 pound-feet of torque at 3,600 rpm. While it’s the least powerful among Viper versions, it still manages a 0-60 miles per hour sprint in approximately 4.2 seconds, with a top speed of around 165 mph.

On the other hand, the Ferrari F40 utilizes a very different powerplant—a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V8 with 477 hp in US specification. Its five-speed manual gearbox transfers the power to the rear wheels, enabling a 0-60 mph sprint in about 4.2 seconds as well.

Adding to the excitement, Doug DeMuro introduces a red Acura NSX, which follows a different concept compared to the Viper and F40. It was equipped with a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 that produced 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque paired to 5-speed manual transmission.

Which one do you think will emerge as the victor in this ultimate 1990s supercar drag race? Watch the video to find out!
