As expected, Yamaha Motor Pakistan has launched “all-new Yamaha YB125Z-DX“. We told in November, 2023 that the company is planning to launch “new model” of the bike after a significant price hike. The company hiked the price of this bike by Rs. 17,000 taking it to Rs. 440,500 against the previous Rs. 423,500, an astonishing price for a bike.

And ending the wait, which was not needed actually, the company has introduced the new Yamaha YB125Z-DX. In a social media post, the company wrote: “The all-new Yamaha YB125Z-DX, designed for those who crave extraordinary experiences.”  As per Yamaha, the bike is adorned with fresh graphics and available in eye-catching metallic gray, red, and black.

“The YB125Z-DX helps you make an elegant appearance on the road. Experience its comfortable suspension, practical elegance, and personalized dynamics,” the company announced.

This is not the first time, Yamaha Pakistan has introduced a new looking bike after a price hike. Earlier this month, the company launched the “new model” of YBR125G. In a daring move that could’ve been described as avant-garde, Yamaha Pakistan shared a video on social media showcasing the enhancements.

The groundbreaking revelation was – a new color! Yes, because nothing says cutting-edge like a different shade on a two-wheeler. Oh, and let’s not forget the revolutionary addition of new stickers.

The motorcycle manufacturers in the country seems to be stuck in a cycle of mediocrity, relying on superficial changes to keep riders interested. It’s almost as if they believe a fresh paint job is enough to distract from the lack of true innovation. All Big 3 has been doing for years as they give its consumers new stickers and graphics in the name of new model. There are hardly any changed in performance, comfort or power of these bikes, but yes a new sticker is essential because that is all it takes to launch a new model, as per these companies.
