This blog has a list of all the electric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles that were launched in Pakistan in 2023. A total of 15 EVs and HEVs were launched in Pakistan during the year 2023, and here’s a rundown of all of them! More than a dozen vehicle launches shows that Pakistan is ready to embrace the green and electric future, whether it comes on two wheels or four!
1. Evee C1:
The Evee C1 electric moped made its grand entrance in March 2023 in the land of EVs. From the glittering launch to the swift delivery to dealerships, Evee C1 became the talk of the town. Boasting a range of 50-60 km, anti-theft alarm, and a max speed of 55 km/hr, this made-in-Pakistan EV scooter comes at a budget-friendly price of Rs. 175,000.
2. Evee C1 Air:
Not stopping at one, Evee introduced the C1 Air in November at an astonishing price of Rs. 300,000. With a top speed of 70 km/h and a range of 120 km, the C1 Air promises not just a ride but an exhilarating experience. Power-packed with a 72V 35Ah Graphene Battery, this electric scooter aims to redefine urban commuting.
3. Evee Flipper:
Breaking norms, Evee unveiled the Flipper on December 6, 2024. Priced at just Rs. 95,000, this affordable electric scooter ensures riders spend more time on the road than waiting for a charge. With a range of 35-40 km on a single charge, the Flipper offers an economical and stylish choice for urban dwellers.
4. Haval Jolion:
On May 17, 2023, Sazgar Engineering Works Limited introduced the Haval Jolion EV, a locally assembled SUV embracing the EVs trend. With a 1.5 turbocharged engine, panoramic sunroof, and an array of safety features, the Jolion blends power and eco-friendliness seamlessly.
5. MS Jaguar EV-125:
In August 2023, the MS Jaguar EV-125 surfaced as a game-changer in the electric transportation landscape. This e-bike promises efficient commuting, thrilling rides, and a greener tomorrow. With three driving modes, a range of 150+ km, and a robust motor, the EV-125 offers a futuristic riding experience.
6. MG ZS EV and MG4 EV:
On September 9, 2023, MG Motors unveiled two EVs – the MG4 EV and MG ZS EV. These electric vehicles not only showcase eco-friendliness but also pack style and innovative features. 7. Road Prince E-GO:
On September 15, 2023, Road Prince unveiled the E-GO electric motorcycle, priced at PKR 260,000. Offering a spacious design, smooth ride, and an electric powerhouse, the E-GO promises to transform daily commutes, bidding farewell to petrol and oil expenses.
8. Hyundai Santa Fe:
Hyundai Nishat joined the green movement on October 1, 2023, launching the locally assembled Hyundai Santa Fe. With variants Smart and Signature, the hybrid SUV boasts a 1.6-turbocharged Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) engine and a host of premium features, marking a significant leap towards eco-conscious driving.
9. GiGi EV by GuGo Motors:
On October 27, 2023, GiGi EV, brought by GuGo Motors, stood out as a stylish electric vehicle in Pakistan. With a range of 220 km, this two-door EV offers a plethora of features, including airbags, ABS, and a remote control anti-theft mechanism.
10. Crown Group’s 2 Electric Scooters
At the Pakistan Auto Show 2023, Crown Group unveiled the Benling E-Scooty and Benling E-Bike on October 27. These electric wonders come equipped with TTFAR technology, promising efficient and eco-friendly rides. With sleek designs and impressive ranges, Crown Group’s electric scooters aim to revolutionize urban commuting.
11. MG 4 EV:
MG Pakistan continued its electric journey by launching the MG 4 EV in November 13th, 2023. This EV combines elegance with sustainability with 2 variants- MG4 EV Excite is priced at PKR 10,999,000, and MG4 EV Essence is available at PKR 12,990,000. MG introduced the MG 4 EV, a compact electric car aiming to redefine city commuting.
12. Regal Automobile’s Seres 3:
After months of anticipation, Regal Automobile introduced the Seres 3 on November 20, 2023. Priced at Rs. 9,199,000, this locally assembled hybrid promises a comfortable ride with features like an electronic panoramic sunroof and leather interior.
13. Yadea EV Scooter:
On November 24, 2023, Chinese e-bike giant Yadea rolled out its electric scooter in Pakistan, offering a blend of speed, range, and eco-friendliness. Packed with TTFAR technology and priced at Rs. 245,000, Yadea’s electric scooter is set to redefine urban mobility.
14. Toyota Corolla Cross HEV:
Toyota Pakistan launched its first locally manufactured hybrid electric CSUV, Corolla Cross, on December 14, 2023. With impressive specs and features, including a 1.8L Hybrid engine, dual-zone auto climate control, and advanced safety systems, the Corolla Cross signals a new era in local hybrid manufacturing.
