Are 100 Tesla Cybertrucks Already On The Road?

In the world of innovation, rumors often become a source of excitement and even advertisement. Tesla’s much-anticipated Tesla Cybertrucks have been buzzing in conversations, and a new whisper in the wind suggests that the electric pickup’s production wheels might already be turning at full speed.

100 Tesla Cybertrucks and Counting?

Behind the curtain of secrecy, a claim emerges – Tesla might have quietly released around a hundred Tesla Cybertrucks onto the roads since the production ignition in mid-July at Gigafactory Texas. While Tesla remains silent about an official production tally, the eagle-eyed enthusiasts have been tracking sightings of these electric pickup trucks leaving the Texas grounds.

Matthew Donegan-Ryan, a Tesla enthusiast and shareholder, dropped a breadcrumb of intrigue on X (formerly Twitter). He boldly stated, “Tesla has now built 100 Cybertrucks at Giga Texas.” Accompanying his declaration was a tantalizing video and photo of the electric pickups being meticulously loaded onto transport carriers. Curiosity piqued when asked about the source of his knowledge, Matthew grinned enigmatically and replied, “I have my ways.”

Guesstimates and Rumors

However, the honesty of the hundred-unit claim may just be a guesstimate. Relying on glimpses of Cybertrucks perched on carriers isn’t exactly a scientific census. After all, Tesla’s secrets are well-guarded; there might be hidden shipments and storage arrangements that escape the digital spotlight.

Nonetheless, if this guesstimate holds any truth, it paints a picture of the company having sufficient Tesla Cybertrucks ready to embrace their first drivers. The anticipation of the upcoming handover event at Giga Texas, which is expected next month, has gathered momentum.

Tesla’s previous practice offers insight into what might come next. Giga Berlin’s inauguration saw the delivery of 30 Model Y vehicles. Drawing a parallel, it’s plausible that a similar number of Cybertrucks will find their pioneers among Tesla’s employees and insiders.

Elon Musk had previously announced that modest Cybertruck production figures will be witnessed in 2023. The high-volume production might only start playing in 2024. Musk has shared aspirations to produce between 250,000 and 500,000 Tesla Cybertrucks into the world annually once the stage is set for a full-throttle production surge.
