Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this 1941 Willys three-window coupe. It is powered by a 383cid stroker V8 paired with a TH700R-4 overdrive automatic and Ford nine-inch limited-slip rear end. Features include coil-over suspension, four-wheel power disc brakes, power windows, bucket seats, Vintage Air climate control, and CD/MP3 audio system, among others. Finished in black over tan leather, this hot Willys coupe is now offered with build documentation, service records, and a clear title in the seller’s name.

The build of this Willys was completed in 2005. The black exterior features dual side-view mirrors, bodyside moldings, and shaved door handles.

Weld Racing 15-inch wheels with knock-off center caps are wrapped in 165/80 Kumho (front) and 29 x 15.5-inch (rear) Mickey Thompson tires.

The cabin was refurbished with twin tan leather buckets with black accents, custom door panels, black microfiber headliner, and black carpeting. Custom amenities include keyless entry, power windows, Billet Specialties steering wheel with Flaming River tilt steering column, power steering, and Vintage Air climate control system. Of special note is the overhead console with a Pioneer Premier AM/FM/CD/MP3 stereo system supported by four speakers. The trunk is upholstered in tan leather and provides access to the fuel cell.

Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, 7,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads 2,750 miles, which is indicative of the mileage on the build.

The 383 small-block stroker was sourced from Jon Barrett Racing Engines and features an Edelbrock carburetor, March Performance serpentine pulley system, block-hugger headers, and 2.5-inch stainless steel exhaust system. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted TH700R-4 four-speed automatic overdrive transmission, B&M torque converter lock-up controller, and Ford nine-inch rear with 3.73 limited-slip gears.

The body rides on a chrome-finished coil-over suspension. Stopping power comes from four-wheel power-assisted disc brakes.

The auction for this 383-powered 1941 Willys three-window coupe ends Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 1:45 p.m. (MST)
