After a memorable innings by the stylish right-hand batsman Babar Azam in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL), the poster boy of MG Pakistan has made a major announcement. In a tweet, Afridi stated that Babar Azam will be the first recipient of locally assembled MG HS Essence. The tweet read: “MG gift for Babar Azam. He will be the first to drive MG Essence. Made in Pakistan.

Yesterday, Babar Azam, the batsman with the most stylish cover drive in the world, scored a blistering century of 111 in only 63 balls. It is the 11th T20 century of Babar as it continues to break records in the cricketing world. In another tweet, Afridi praised the former cricket team captain of Pakistan, saying this is the era of Babar Azam, and he justified his kingdom.

Babar Azam Car Collection

Babar Azam loves cars, and he has owned different expensive and sleek vehicles. His favorite is Audi A5, and he loves to drive it in Pakistan. Furthermore, the batsman owned BJ40 Plus, which he also won in a series between Pakistan and Australia. Another sedan he owned was the Hyundai Sonata, in which he was seen during a ceremony of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Last year, his family gifted him an Audi e-Tron GT after his tour to Sri Lanka. His brother shared the whole process of buying the car and gave it to Babar in a video, which you can see here. This new addition of MG HS Essence will be an exciting addition to the Babar Azam car collection. It is pertinent to mention that Javed Afridi is the owner of Peshawar Zalmi, which Babar Azam has been captaining in PSL for the last couple of seasons.
