Production shutdowns in the face of low inventory have been the fate of the car manufacturers in the country last year. Old, in conjunction with new entrants, kept on bearing the brunt of the low production in the form of declining sales.

In contrast, Changan Pakistan pursued a distinct strategy to achieve sustainable production in its assembly plants. Resultantly, the company has a different story to present – achieved a milestone of producing 40,000 vehicles.

In a noteworthy achievement, Master Changan Motors Limited has proudly reached the accomplishment of producing 40,000 vehicles in Pakistan. This significant accomplishment showcases the brand’s unwavering dedication to excellence and its increasing impact in the Pakistani automotive market.

The journey to this milestone has been a collective effort, and Changan Motors expresses heartfelt gratitude to its loyal customers, dedicated employees, reliable dealer partners, and valued manufacturing collaborators. Their combined efforts have played a crucial role in making this achievement a reality.

Another Achievement

Highlighting another benchmark, last year Master Changan Motors successfully exported the first batch of 14 Oshan X7s to Kenya for onward sale to Kenya and Tanzania markets.

Making it the first company to become Pakistan’s volume exporter of technologically advanced SUVs’, the Oshan X7 was the first SUV to be launched in an international market, the company said in a statement.

The company informed that it focuses on increasing its global footprint to Europe, America, the Middle East and Africa, Asia Pacific, and CIS, entering 90% of the global markets by 2030. As Changan’s RHD manufacturing hub, Master Changan Pakistan will play a significant role in Changan’s ‘Vast Ocean’ plan to cater to RHD markets globally.

It is related to mention that the export of ‘Made in Pakistan’ vehicles is completely dependent on the federal government’s policies to promote and incentivize the automotive industry.
