Yadea is in full swing to bring the most-awaited electric revolution in Pakistan by launching its T5 electric scooter first and now the G5 model. Over and over again, we have mentioned to automotive professionals that if you are concerned about the increasing smog or breathing problems in Pakistan, think about bringing sustainable solutions.
Yadea G5 Overview
Yadea is a Chinese e-bike brand marketed by Regal Automobiles and DFSK in Pakistan. Last year, they brought the T5 electric scooty, and this year they have launched the G5 model. It looks quite similar to all the e-bikes available in the market but has some distinctive features, too.
Specs and Features
The T5 is available in three different colors: silver, red, and grey, boasting the Yadea logo at six different places. It has striking LEDs at the rear and front end that differentiate it from the other brands of electric scooters. The rear Yadea badge illuminates at night. The speedometer comes in a tablet design, keeping the driver aware of the mileage, speed, and charging state. On the steering, a mode selector with two modes, ECO and power, is given on the right side, along with headlight and hazard indicators. On the left, there are dimmer, horn, and hazard switches.
Moving on to the rear profile, LED brake lamps and reflectors enhance the overall appearance. A pillion rider can easily be accommodated, while the center console has a 30L space that can store a helmet or charger easily.
Front and rear wheels are 12 inches, maintaining an 80/80 at the front and 80/100 at the back. However, both the wheels come with disc brakes.
Battery and Performance
G5 features a 1200 Watts motor and LED graphene battery with a charging time of 8 to 12 hours on a residential charger. It has a charging range of 100km and a maximum speed of 60km/hr in sports mode. The OEM claims that this e-bike is charged in less than two units, which costs below 150 rupees. In addition, the best thing about this e-bike is that it comes with a warranty of 18 months in contrast to the other brands, which only give a 12-month warranty.
G5 looks like a modernistic e-bike that costs comparatively less than gasoline bikes as it doesn’t have any maintenance cost and charges at cheaper rates than refueling. We aim to bring a full review of this bike soon at PakWheels’ website.
