P2 WRC is a legendary Subaru Impreza S5 being an ex-Colin McRae WRC car. Though it has an interesting history.

The original P2 WRC number was assigned to chassis number 3 and was a works Subaru entry into the Monte Carlo Rally in 1997. Driven by McRae and his co-driver Nicky Grist in the event where Colin had an accident and failed to finish.

This resulted in a re-shelling of the car and the number was then transferred to chassis 21, a Prodrive chassis, and later privately campaigned in Europe in 1998 to 2000 with a number of wins, including the Hungarian Championship in 1998 and 1999.

Competition cars are re-shelled all the time and this car is no exception, but it still retains all the correct provenance.
