Boxengasse: The Ultimate Destination for Porsche Enthusiasts

Boxengasse is a unique destination that caters exclusively to Porsche enthusiasts. The complex is set within 100 acres of picturesque woodland and lakes in central England, making it easily accessible to over 50% of the UK’s population within an hour and 30 minutes. It’s only a 30-minute drive from the famous Silverstone Circuit and Motorsport Valley. We sat down with Boxengasse front man Frank Cassidy, who discusses with us his plans for the future and how he found his love for Porsche.

One of Boxengasse’s main attractions is its annual air-cooled Porsche reunion, which is celebrating its 5th Anniversary edition. This event is a unique gathering of like-minded Porsche enthusiasts who come together to celebrate their love for the marque. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever before, with over 50,000 square feet of space available to explore. Frank adds – “We’ve got another 30,000 sqft, which will be finished late this year, which is really exciting after six years of building. I’ll be very happy that that’s done. And then another side of the business is we run an annual event called Megaphonics, which is a air-cooled Porsche event. I think of it more of a reunion ,really, which kind of just brings everyone in the Porsche industry together, whether you’re an industry professional or an enthusiast and everything else in between.”

The reunion is an excellent opportunity to meet and connect with other Porsche enthusiasts while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Boxengasse. The event is not only a celebration of Porsche’s heritage but also an opportunity to experience the latest models and technologies in the Porsche lineup.

Frank goes on to say how he found his love for Porsche – “So Mum Bought me The Love Bug, which was a 1967 film about a mischievous little beetle that comes to life. And I must have watched, like I said, back to back over I don’t know, God knows how many times. I’d say thousands of times, let’s say. And there was something about it. There was something about the shape, there’s something about the noise, the quirkiness of it and this and the other. And obviously you start reading into andVolkswagen Beatles, which was where I started.”

Boxengasse is a must-visit destination for any Porsche enthusiast. The complex’s purpose-built facilities, picturesque surroundings, and annual air-cooled Porsche reunion make it the ultimate destination for all things Porsche. If you’re a Porsche enthusiast, make sure you don’t miss out on the opportunity to experience Boxengasse for yourself.

“Megaphonics only exist because of the people. You know, we’re a house of people to make it a home. As long as people keep coming, we’ll keep doing it.So and we’ve, we’ve had that amazing, loyal support for quite a while now, and I’m hoping that people will again support us this year in putting together what will be, I think, our best additional Megaphonics yet.”

“Design 911 will be joining us for, I think I want to say, the third year in a row now. So, yeah, they’re a Porsche part supplier with a plethora of interesting parts available. The usual boring stuff, like world changes and all that kind of stuff, the nuts and bolts of it. But there’s always an interesting catalog of well curated aftermarket parts. I think that’s part of the value in Design 911 .Of the customer service and all that good stuff. But one of the biggest values that they have is that ability to create brilliant parts, interesting parts, and to know their onions.”
