Honda has officially begun the production of its electric SUV, the “Honda e:N1,” in Thailand. This marks a significant milestone as Honda becomes the first Japanese automaker to manufacture a fully electric vehicle (EV) in the country.

The inaugural e:N1, crafted with local components, rolled off the production line at the Honda factory in Prachinburi’s Rojana Industrial Park. With a 68.8kWh battery powering an electric motor, the e:N1 boasts 201hp and 310Nm of torque. Honda estimates an impressive range of over 400km on a single charge, emphasizing the SUV’s efficiency and environmental friendliness.
