The Korean Manufacturer Hyundai has established itself as a leader in electric cars worldwide. With Ioniq 6 winning the award for best car of the year 2023, the recent model packages a fastback sedan look with impressive mileage and quick acceleration. The introduction of Ioniq 5 and 6 in Pakistan is a futuristic step aimed at revolutionizing the country’s EV market.

Exterior

Ioniq 6 is intelligently designed with an irresistible exterior profile that hints towards a sports car. It comes in a Piano black look combined with an SS finish on side skirts to make it look sleeker. Front and rear bumpers accommodate air vents for cooling electrical components. The front lip is integrated with parking sensors, above which Pixel LEDs are used as headlamps, giving the car a brightened look. However, the side profile looks sharp with 20-inch aerodynamically designed alloy wheels paired with Pirelli tires. Here, the side-presenting door handles are surely inspired by Porsche.

I bet you have never seen a rear profile more attractive than this car. Accommodated with two spoilers and a continuous running pixel LED, it is the ultimate head-turner.

Ioniq 6 Interior and Specs

Hyundai is continuously refining its design phenomenon with comfort and premium features. This sedan has a cabin space larger than you can expect. With comfortable cushioning and a 12-way adjustable driver seat (including lumbar support), you can choose this car for your long runs. Moreover, it has heated and ventilated seats to cater for all the weather conditions.

Its most unique feature is the manually adjustable steering wheel, which is designed with blinking LEDs indicating the driving mode you select. The textured dashboard comes with a split-screen featuring an odometer and infotainment display. The doors come with ambient lights, and the central panel consists of cup holders and a wireless charger. Furthermore, it has a unique gear lever and non-conventional pedal shifter, while the Drive Mode push button is provided on the steering wheel.

Battery and Range

Ioniq 6 comes with a 77.4 kWh battery pack that produces a power output of 320 HP and a 605 N-m torque. However, the OEM claims a range of 520km per charge.

Hyundai announces the price of Ioniq 6 as 23 million. Do you think this heavy price structure will work as a deal breaker in the Pakistani market? Let us know in the comments below.
