In the recently launched Bollywood film “Animal,” Ranbir Kapoor takes center stage with a remarkable prop—a 500 kg war machine gun motorcycle. Here’s a glimpse into the fascinating details of this extraordinary creation that has set the town talking.

Real Steel Motorcycle, Not CGI

Contrary to assumptions, the colossal war machine gun showcased in the film is not a product of advanced CGI. It’s a tangible, 500 kg man-made marvel constructed over four months using authentic steel. A rare spectacle in Indian cinema, the attention to detail is the brainchild of the film’s art director, Suresh Selvarajan.

“The 500KG War Machine gun isn’t VFX, it is a completely man-made gun that was constructed over a period of four months using real steel. I never saw such a thing happen for any Indian film. It was Sandeep’s vision”, Animal art director Suresh Selvarajan told the media.

This unique machine gun motorcycle wasn’t merely conceptualized; it was brought to life in a journey spanning multiple cities. Imagined in Delhi, manufactured in Bengaluru, and meticulously assembled in Maharashtra, the bike is a collaborative effort that echoes the diverse skills and craftsmanship of India.

Ranbir Kapoor’s Reaction

Even the film’s lead actor, Ranbir Kapoor, was taken aback by the sheer brilliance of the war machine. Recalling the moment he first laid eyes on it, Kapoor expressed his amazement at the craftsmanship. “I remember the first time Suresh Anna showed us the war machine, I was shocked. It is such an original piece,” he shared, acknowledging the visionary collaboration between director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and art director Suresh Selvarajan.

Twitter is ablaze with excitement at this work of art, which integrated ammunition into a three-wheeled motorcycle. The images and video clips of the motorcycle show a beast of a machine in silver. The 500 kg machine gun bike is a rare modification in today’s cinema as everything is being replaced by CGI.
