MG5 EV – Overview
Globally MG5 EV comes in two trim levels, SE and Trophy. However, SE has been launched in Pakistan targeting the C-class consumer market. Competing against KIA Sportage, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Seres 3, MG5 has given a strong all-electric option in the crossover sector.
Exterior Profile
It has a bold and accentuated exterior body of 15ft in length with a muscular grille and a flashy MG emblem on the hood. The radar is positioned below the hood and integrated with adaptive LED headlights. The side profile gives an attractive look with Bridgestone tires and unique wheel caps with aerodynamic design. Moreover, the retractable mirrors, rear brake light, spoiler, and manual tailgate are additive features.
MG5 Interior
EV has cabin space greater than you can imagine with comfortable legroom and a good height. Its dash is designed in soft grey plastic with a touch of aluminum integrated with a blue line running all through it. Having a 439L boot, you can easily manage a couple of baggage with manually adjustable seats. MG5 gives you an option of push start and a rotating dial gear with an electronic e-brake and parking button, a regenerative braking system, rear camera, and three driving modes including ECO, Normal, and Sports.
It comes with a 4-door auto mirror feature, armrest, and cup holders. Moreover, the telescopic steering gives you the option to adjust the wheel according to your comfort.

Battery and Performance
MG5 comes with a 61KWh lithium-ion battery with a driving range of 400 Km. However, the battery takes 6 hours to charge fully and 1 hour with a fast charger.
This station wagon gives a top speed of 185 Km/H, a power output of 130 KW, and a torque of 280 Nm.
Price in Pakistan
MG5 EV is launched at a price of Rs.13,500,000 with a delivery timeline of 90-120 days.
