We had the pleasure of sitting down with Charlie, the owner of William Francis, a Porsche specialist workshop located in Suffolk. Charlie’s passion for Porsche started at a young age, as his father was a member of the Porsche Club in their region, and they spent many weekends at their local track, Snetterton, watching all kinds of racing, but always with a special love for the Porsches. While Charlie’s father only owned a 912, the passion for the brand was instilled in Charlie from a young age.

After starting out with very little investment, Charlie began working on German cars in general, with the goal of eventually working on Porsches. Things quickly progressed for William Francis, and they soon outgrew their original premises. Today, they have a well-equipped workshop, with all the latest diagnostic equipment, ramps, and more. They offer a wide range of services, from routine maintenance to complete engine rebuilds and everything in between.
