As we continue to get annual sticker and color updates in our bikes with extremely high prices, Harley-Davidson has just launched first Made-in-India bike in only INR. 2,29,000 (PKR. 7,70,900). According to media reports, the bike is joint venture of Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson.
Specs and Features
Here are its salient specs and features.
Engine and Transmission
The bike has Harley-Davidson X440 single cylinder producing 27 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 38Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine is mated with 6-speed gearbox.
Variants
The company has launched the bike in three variants:
- Denim: INR. 2,29,000 (PKR. 770,900)
- Vivid: INR. 2,49,000 (PKR. 838,362)
- S: INR. 2,69,000 (PKR. 905,701)

Unlike its competitors in India, the new bike has KYB 43mm upside down front suspension, which is quite popular among the bike enthusiasts of our neighboring country. All the bike lights are LED, i.e., headlight, taillight and indicators.
Meter
The new bike has a 3.5 inch TFT display with phone connectivity features along with a very important fuel range indicator.
