Featuring refreshed front and rear designs, the City has undergone a slight increase in overall length in contrast to the previous model prior to the facelift.
The standard variants now exhibit a length of 4,580 mm, an augmentation of 27 mm, whereas the RS models have grown to 4,589 mm, an extension of 36 mm. However, the width (1,748 mm), height (1,467 mm), and wheelbase (2,600 mm) have remained unaltered. Non-hybrid variants of the newly-launched car are S, E, V, and a new RS. Whereas, e: HEV RS comes as the only hybrid option. The facelift also comes with 5-year/unlimited mileage warranty, free labor service of up to five times within 5 year/100,000 km. Moreover, the hybrid model benefits from an 8-year/unlimited mileage battery warranty.
Style & Design Language
In RS model of facelift, the chrome bar is elegantly coated in black, while the grille adopts a honeycomb mesh insert. The lower intake design diverges, showcasing a diamond-patterned mesh encased by supplementary trim that imitates air inlets. Additionally, RS models feature a rear diffuser-like component, a boot spoiler, side skirts, and subtly updated ‘RS’ badges.
Interior
While the exterior flaunts considerable changes compared to the previous models, the interior maintained the sense of familiarity with an unchanged dashboard design, . Meanwhile, 8-inch infotainment unit, colored illumination specifically for the automatic air conditioning, a USB port, an upgraded multi-angle rearview camera come with a fresh interface.
Power
No alterations have been made to the engine or mechanical configuration. Similar to the previous iteration, the S, E, V, and RS variants are all powered by the same 1.5L naturally-aspirated inline-four cylinder i-VTEC engine that generates 120 hp of power and 145 Nm of peak torque.
The power is transferred to the front wheels through a CVT gearbox. The e: HEV RS hybrid variant retains the unchanged Intelligent Multi-Mode Drive (i-MMD) powertrain, comprising a 1.5L naturally-aspirated engine, two electric motors, a lithium-ion battery pack, and an e-CVT gearbox. The hybrid model maintains output levels of 109 hp and 253 Nm.
