As captured in a video by an observant Instagram and TikTok user, the pink F40’s performance was not limited to the drift track. The footage showcases the moment when the supercar’s wheels locked up, and it skidded uncontrollably toward a fence. According to the witness, the root cause was a sticky throttle, coupled with the absence of anti-lock brakes (ABS), leaving the driver unable to halt the impending contact.

The fence was of the temporary variety, allowing it to give way upon impact. This unplanned collision didn’t inflict significant damage on the F40’s nose, as seen in the video snippet.
