The car got quite traction back then as people liked it for being an electric car with a reasonable price, and now there is a major update about this tiny hatchback. 

From Rinco Aria to Volt 

The Rinco Aria is now called Volt, and Regal Automobiles of Pakistan has brought it under the company’s banner. As per a company official, the deal was made about a month ago. “Around 50 units of this small EV has been imported, and Regal is selling them as CBU units currently,” the reliable sources told us. Furthermore, one of the company officials said to us that the local assembly of the car may start in May/June 2024. The price of the locally assembled car has yet to be finalized.

The car has a permanent magnetic synchronous motor with a Lithium Iron Phosphate battery of 16.5kWh. It generates maximum power of 34KW and 102 Nm of torque with a mileage of around 200 kilometers/charge. The top speed of the car is 100 kilometers/hour, and its charging time is 6 hours. 

The Volt has an automatic transmission.
