Sazgar Engineering Sets New Sales Record

[ad_1]

In a promising stride for Pakistan’s automotive sector, Sazgar Engineering (SAZEW) has marked a significant milestone by achieving its highest-ever 4-wheeler sales in January 2024.

Surpassing all previous records, the company proudly announced the sale of 967 units, a notable surge from the 436 units sold during the same period last year. This remarkable upswing in sales can be attributed chiefly to Sazgar Engineering’s strategic introduction of Hybrid HEV and HAVAL vehicles in November 2024.

This achievement stands out particularly considering the company’s modest sales figures in December 2023, where only 29 units were sold. Reflecting on the sales trajectory since January 2022, the consistent growth demonstrates Sazgar Engineering’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.

With each passing month, the company has demonstrated resilience and adaptability in a competitive market landscape. This accomplishment not only underscores Sazgar Engineering’s market prowess but also signals a positive outlook for Pakistan’s automotive industry in the years ahead.

Toyota Sales Jacked up by 304%

Following Sazgar Engineering, Toyota Pakistan observed the same in its sales. Following months of enduring a sales and production crisis, Toyota Indus Motors (IMC) finds a glimmer of hope amidst the prevailing challenges. There are promising signs indicating a substantial recovery.

According to a report from the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA), Toyota Pakistan has witnessed a remarkable surge in sales, with an increase of 304%. Last month, they sold 3,570 units compared to 684 vehicles in December 2023. Among these, Toyota Indus managed to sell 1,207 units of Corolla and Yaris, along with 132 units of Fortuner and Hilux.

Earlier, IMC observed strong sales contraction, back-to-back production shutdowns in the face of low inventory. Pakistan’s dwindling economic graphs nudged the SBP (State Bank of Pakistan) to impose the import restrictions which in turn took a toll on Pakistan’s car industry.
