Off-road capabilities, sturdiness, and robust built quality denote wranglers. These 4X4 vehicles were used for commuting soldiers and arms in the Second World War, for which they were built rough and tough. Today, PakWheels will take you on a walkaround of the Wrangler Renegade, where MK Motors, a used car dealer in Karachi, transformed this classic Jeep into a modified version.
Make, Model, and Variant
This one was a 1981 Jeep Wrangler Renegade, CJ07, which was later modified into a Toyota 3RZ FE engine, the same as Hilux, Surf, and Tacoma. A heat shield in the bonnet was also introduced to take up all the extra heat generated by the bigger engine.
Exterior
The owner shared his unique affection with Wranglers, and taking it as a project car was all due to his passion for car modifications. The most striking feature of this Wrangler was its Bumblebee yellow car. Its paint job was done locally with a combination of piano black.
A Wrangler half-kit was installed, with modifications to its doors, rollbar, speaker covers, LED projection lights, and taillights. A snorkel was added to make the Wrangler look rugged. However, a small shovel is neatly placed on the bonnet that works dual ways, adding character to the Jeep while providing aid to the passengers in snowy or sandy areas. Moreover, the rubber tubes were changed into Gramax all-terrain tires exclusively used for off-roading, and a footboard was added.
Customized Wrangler Interior
The project Jeep had the same old seats with a dashboard and cluster panel. However, power steering, power window, and auto gear were introduced along with a Daihatsu Terios Kid steering wheel.
Jeep Wrangler Price
The owner shared that he bought this all-wheel drive for Rs, 2 million 8 months back and has already invested the same amount in this project.
