The all-new Porsche Taycan Turbo GT aims directly at the Tesla Model S Plaid, boasting a powerful engine, lighter weight, and speediest vibes. The German manufacturer has just dropped the facelift model of its Taycan line with minor tweaks in appearance but a whole new rejuvenated engine. This halo-styled Porsche has launch control and provides the boost faster than you can imagine.
Power and Performance
The new Taycan produces a whopping 1,108hp when the ‘Attack Mode’ is activated. It can astonishingly sprint from 0-62mph in 2.2 seconds. Even the base model produces 789hp, while in a launch control mode, it can go up to 1,033hp.
It has two battery packs available, 97kWh and 82kWh, that will take you from 367 miles to 421 miles, depending on the battery size you choose. Not only this, it delivers 25 miles more than a Tesla Model S and 40 miles more than what you can get from a Mercedes EQE. Moreover, this dark horse gets 80% charged in just 18 minutes.
Exterior & Interior
Porsche has kept the design fresh with a brighter purple color and minute exterior detailing. The new headlights suit the sleek body style. However, the 19-inch alloy wheels give it the exact speedy look. With the excessive use of carbon fiber, Porsche has managed to reduce its overall weight by 75kg compared to the standard trim. With a spectacular interior packed with technology, it has bucket-style sports seats and stark spoilers on the front and rear end, making this machine look even sharper. Available in Pale Blue and Purple Sky Metallic are the two-color options thrillsters can choose from.
This Porsche Taycan Turbo GT has already proved to be the fastest-ever car built by the company. As in February, the Turbo GT Weissach completed a lap of WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca quickest than any other electric car has before. Coming in with a hefty price tag of $286,845, it has already become a dream car for the speed mongers.
