The eighth GT350 Tour was recently based out of the historic French Lick Springs Resort in French Lick, IN.
This invitational Tour was first held in 2015 with only 14 cars attending. Things have obviously changed, and this year’s Tour had over 40 vintage GT350s participating in the event. They were all 1965 and 1966 models with the exception of two 1967s. We are really fortunate in that we have attended all eight now! Seven of them have been in our old green ’66 GT350 (SFM6S1732). It missed only one year when it had to stay home to allow our ’65 to attend.
The Tour always includes lots of driving (800 to 1000 miles for the week) along with some very cool visits. This year, those visits were over the top with stops at incredible private car collections, the National Corvette Museum, cool little towns, and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
While we cannot share any pictures of the private collections, there are two more posts planned with a few pictures from the Corvette Museum and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Be sure to watch for those coming soon!
