With the Asia Cup 2023 concluding on Sept 17, 2023, the excitement is building up for the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup scheduled to take place in India from October 5 to November 19, 2023. Surprisingly enough, this cricket extravaganza also brings an update for car enthusiasts.

Nissan Motor India has revealed that it is set to serve as the official automotive partner for the upcoming 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. During this highly anticipated event, the spotlight will shine on Nissan’s premium SUV dubbed ‘Magnite’ which has been designated as the official vehicle.

Nissan India & ICC Cricketing Events

Notably, the Nissan has maintained a consistent presence at all ICC cricketing events over the past eight years. To commemorate this long-standing partnership, the company has introduced the Nissan Magnite Kuro Special Edition, which will hold the prestigious title of the World Cup’s official car.

However, specific details differentiating the Kuro Special Edition from the standard Magnite lineup have not been provided by Nissan, despite the release of an image.

Rakesh Srivastav, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India stated, “It is a proud moment for Nissan to introduce the Nissan Magnite KURO Special Edition in commemoration of its 8th-year partnership, for this tournament Nissan will engage with multiple activities with millions of cricket fans on their deep passion strengthening its bonds, especially in India where cricket is a festival.”

As a component of these promotional initiatives, Nissan India has embarked on a nationwide tour featuring a lifelike 3D replica of the ICC World Cup trophy. Furthermore, Nissan will prominently display the Magnite SUV at all the stadiums and conduct innovative engagement activities during the event on-site.

It is related to mention that the SUV Magnite is already exported to the countries including, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, with the recent launches in Seychelles, Bangladesh, Uganda and Brunie, etc.,
